Michael K. Broder is the Co-founder and President of CrossTimbers Capital. Mr. Broder began his career as a Fixed Income Trader at Citicorp Investment Bank in New York in 1985. In 1990, Mr. Broder joined the NCH Corporation in Dallas Texas where his responsibilities included treasury functions, banking coordination, and real estate lease negotiations for NCH Corp.’s nine regional offices. In 1997 Mr. Broder left NCH and, along with David Cunningham, founded CrossTimbers Capital, Inc., as a commercial real estate development firm where Mr. Broder had responsibility for project accounting and finance, project lender management, limited partner coordination, and property management. Following Mr. Cunningham’s departure in the fall of 2005, Mr. Broder expanded the scope of the business into a diversified financial services company, primarily focused on lending within the subprime residential housing market. He has operated within this arena since that time. Mr. Broder graduated from Emory University in 1983 with a B.A in Economics. He earned a M.B.A. in Finance from The Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA in 1985.
Michael Blashka has been with CrossTimbers Capital for almost 10 years. Mr. Blashka is the office manager, responsible foroverseeing each of the files. He coordinates the interaction between CrossTimbers Capital and the title companies. Mr. Blashka earned a B.A. and an M.A. from NYU.
Cristina Caballero is the Comptroller of CrossTimbers Capital, overseeing all accounting functions for the company. Ms. Caballero is going on 5 years with the company and is bi-lingual. She has a B.B.A. from the University of North Texas at Dallas.
Elizabeth Hernandez is an associate and has been with CrossTimbers Capital for 2 years. Her focus is on accounting and client relations. Ms. Hernandez is also bi-lingual and has a B.B.A. from Northwood University.
Thomas Broder is an associate and has been with the company for 2 years. He graduated with a B.A. from Lehigh University and an M.B.A. from Fordham University. Mr. Thomas Broder works with the network of real estate investors and brokers who bring us many of our deals.
Yamile Lim is CrossTimbers Capital’s newest associate with almost one year’s experience. She, too, is bi-lingual, and helps with accounting and clerical work. Ms. Lim graduated from Brookhaven College.
